I have to thank Hannah from The Irish Banana Review for a lot of the books I got this week, especially The Young Elites. She knows how badly I wanted that book and she was nice enough to get me my own copy from ALA. She deserves all the hugs and all of Jen's cupcakes!

I may have gone a little trigger happy with purchasing books. I recently bought a membership with Barnes & Noble so now I have the option of ordering books from Amazon or B&N so I like choices (I guess I still also have the option of Book-a-Million, too).

So, I didn't have time to post my last Stacking the Shelves post since it was the day I got back from BEA but I had to get ready for my brothers wedding the following day so my computer time was completely limited; therefore, this may seem like a lot of books but it's more like a month's worth :)

I'm trying to slow my roll with requesting books so I can catch up on ones I have. I swear, I wish there were more than 24 hours in a day because there's just not enough time to deal with life and read sometimes.

So since only Jessica and I will be doing Stacking the Shelves now, my StS probably won't feature many books.  Again I am still making my way through my ALA Midwinter books.  And honestly I'll probably still be reading them by the end of this year.  Sorry I am a slow reader!

I'm late with posting the StS but this is my first day where I'm able to use the computer for more than two second since Tuesday (I have been dying without it). But you know what they say . . . better late than never! ;)

So this week my StS will feature a few contemporary novels one of them being Christina Lauren's new novel which I am super excited to read!  And here's a little secret.  The amazing writing duo Christina Lauren will be our featured Author Spotlight for the month of June!  I cannot wait to interview these lovely ladies that I have been a fan of for so long.

So I've got a good deal of reviewing coming up in my near future! But really - I'm excited for most of these books! I'm kind of bummed I haven't gotten a chance to read the King by J.R. Ward yet as I've had review obligations but I'm dying to read it. DYING!

It's been awhile since I've done a Stacking the Shelves.  I've been busy trying to read and review my books from ALA Midwinter.  So I've been a good girl, and haven't purchased many books.  But over the past month I did pick up some.  Short but sweet this week!

I've gotten a variety of books this week! Which is good because I've hopped back on the reading train; I struggled with reading books last month but I'm so happy to be over it!

I also can't tell you how appreciative Sana and I were to be able to attend ALA Midwinter 2014.  We have much respect for librarians; It was an amazing opportunity and are thankful for the American Library Association for opening up their convention to book bloggers.

I hope everyone's had a great few weeks! I just bought a new car today, even though it's the same kind of car I drive, it's about 5 years newer. I know, it has nothing to do with books but I'm excited about it. I finally got a back up camera so now I can parallel park lol. Regarding books, I've gotten a few really good ones, that I'm excited for!
