Stacking the Shelves #32

Stacking the Shelves is created & hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is a weekly meme sharing the books you've bought, borrowed or received for review.

I hope everyone (who celebrates) had a great Christmas and I hope everyone's getting ready to ring in the New Year next week. 2014 is going to be a great year, I can feel it! While I didn't get any books for Christmas (actually I did but it hasn't been released yet so it'll wait) I have some amazing books to read!

Clicking the pictures will take you to the books goodreads page!

Thank you to Heidi for a review copy of Finding My Forever! Thank you to Harelquin Teen for an eARC of Grim - I can't wait to read these short stories (especially Julie's!). Thank you to Entangled for an eARC of Ruined by Jus Accardo - I love her books so I can't wait to read her New Adult title!

Thank you to Scholastic for an ARC of Fire & Flood - I am really anxious to read this (and I freaking LOVE this cover). Thank you to Lizzy from Bloomsbury for an ARC of Cured - I really loved the first one and I have been twitching for the next book! And thank YOU to William Morrow for an eARC of A Little Too Hot - these books are so awesome & so sexy - I can't wait to read this!

A huge thank you to Alyssa from The Eater of Books for letting me borrow A Mad, Wicked Folly. She really enjoyed and I hope I do, too (plus, this is a big book!). A BIG thank you to Hannah from The Irish Banana for not only volunteering to lend me her ARC of The Winner's Curse but she's actually letting me keep this. SHE IS MADE OF AWESOME! <3

I already own Rise by it came out in paperback with an Epilogue so I had to buy it. Yes, I own a set of this series in hardcover and in paperback. Don't judge me. I also bought Fracture Me because well, it's Tahereh Mafi though I'm sad to say I haven't read it yet. Plus, why can't this be a cover I can hold in my hands because it's my absolute favorite and it's the cover for a stupid ebook. Boo.

I bought myself a new kindle! The Kindle Fire HDX to be exact. I couldn't resist (I've been thinking about getting a fire for awhile now) when Amazon had an amazing payment plan deal. $57 every 90 days for four payments? Who could say no to that? Certainly not me.

  2. I know they're releasing them in paperback but it's not this cover. It's like a bind up of both the novellas and the cover isn't quite as awesome. I'll buy it cause I'm a fan but I just love this cover.

  4. YAY for Fire & Flood! Hope you and I both love that one. I decided against downloading A Little Too Hot - I feel like that series started declining in interest for me. I liked A Little Too Far, but seriously disliked A Little Too Much. I have a feeling I will abhor A Little Too Hot, so I shall avoid it :D BUT, I cannot wait to read what you think!

And you are most welcome for A Mad, Wicked Folly! :)

    Have a fabulous weekend!

  5. I hope we love Fire & Flood as well. I'm totally in love with the new, updated cover. Who knew such a little change would make such a huge difference?!

I am on the blog tour for A Little Too Hot so I kind of had to download it. While A Little Too Much did disappoint me, I'm willing to give this book a shot because of how much I loved A Little Too Far. She just needs to write another book with Trent & Lexie and I'll be the happiest person ever. LOL

  7. Man, I envy you for those copies of The Winner's Curse and Fire & Flood ;) Both books sound so amazing! I've never heard of Grim before, but I really need to check it out! Especially if Julie Kagawa has a story in it ^^
Thanks for sharing, and happy reading!
