Stacking the Shelves #36

Stacking the Shelves is created & hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is a weekly meme sharing the books you've bought, borrowed or received for review.

So below are some books I might've gotten in the mail, picked up at ALA or purchased for my ever growing bookshelf.

I also can't tell you how appreciative Sana and I were to be able to attend ALA Midwinter 2014.  We have much respect for librarians; It was an amazing opportunity and are thankful for the American Library Association for opening up their convention to book bloggers.

Clicking the pictures will take you to the books goodreads page!

Thank you so Alison from HarperTeen for sending me a copy of Frozen - I was so thrilled to get this baby in the mail! A big thank you to those working at ALA in the HarperCollins Childrens booth for these awesome books, especially Strange and Ever After (I may squealed over it).

A huge thank you to Cassie from Disney Hyperion for the awesome Deep Blue package! Was totally unexpected and really cool! Another huge thank you to those work at the Disney booth at ALA for Don't Look Back and The Rules for Breaking - two I'm really looking forward to reading! Thank you to Ksenia from Macmillan for The Kiss of Deception - I had no idea about this book but after reading the description, I want to read it now! Thank you to those working the booth from Macmillan at ALA for Plus One, this cover is something else. Lastly, a huge thank you to HarperCollins for the final book. I've been hearing a lot about this book and I can't wait to read it!

The only book I've read below is Be With Me; I loved it so much that I had to own it in print (like all my other JLA books) and I'm really excited to read some of these others below!

  1. YAY for Frozen, Push, Strange and Ever After, and On the Fence! I have all but Frozen (boo). Is it on Edelweiss for review? I shall go look :o I really liked Be With Me, which was nice, since I hated Wait For You. And I have yet to read Shatter Me and Unravel Me (despite owning the two). I'll binge-read the entire series over the summer :D

    Have a fabulous weekend!

    Check out my STS post!

  3. I didn't know ALA had opened their conferences to book bloggers. I used to go as a librarian but am retired. I may need to attend again. Great group of books.
