Welcome to our second installment into Author Spotlight where we pick one author that'll we'll feature on the site with either a guest post, interview or something else that's a lot of fun along with a giveaway that will be opened internationally. This months author is not only super nice, local (to me) but extremely talented and creative.

September we're excited to be featuring Jessica Spotswood who is the author of Born Wicked [2012], Star Cursed [2013] and the Untitled conclusion [2014]. We are doing a little bit of everything today as we have a character interview with the youngest Cahill sister, Tess; an author interview as well as This or That feature!

Breathless Reads New York Author Event

Last night was the New York tour stop of the Breathless Reads tour!  I have been looking forward to this book signing for quite some time.  I am very thankful to Penguin Teen for putting this tour together.  I am also thankful to Books of Wonder for hosting yet another amazing event.

PAYA Festival Write Up!

I attended the PAYA Festival in West Chester, PA on Saturday, August 25 along with my friends, Sana (fellow reviewer here) and Stacey. We got there late where we missed the first set of authors signing. Thankfully we didn't have anything for those authors to sign (or in my case, I've met them before - well, at least the one whose book I already own). The next set of authors were already signing when we got there and we went straight to the table to see if any books were there. Brigid Kemmerer (author of Storm and Spark) mentioned that Spark would be available for purchase but it turns out, they weren't allowed to sell them. Utterly bummed. Stacey & Sana were bummed all of the Storms were sold out, as well, because they wanted a copy.
