Bianca wants to escape.

She's been uprooted from her small hometown and enrolled at Evernight Academy, an eerie Gothic boarding school where the students are somehow too perfect: smart, sleek, and almost predatory. Bianca knows she doesn't fit in.

Then she meets Lucas. He's not the "Evernight type" either, and he likes it that way. Lucas ignores the rules, stands up to the snobs, and warns Bianca to be careful—even when it comes to caring about him.

"I couldn't stand it if they took it out on you," he tells Bianca, "and eventually they would."

But the connection between Bianca and Lucas can't be denied. Bianca will risk anything to be with Lucas, but dark secrets are fated to tear them apart . . . and to make Bianca question everything she's ever believed.

This was a very interesting book. I instantly loved the main characters in this book, Bianca and Lucas. Little tidbit I loved was the fact that Bianca was a red head, you never see red heads be the main character it seems. Anyway, this was a different twist in a Vampire story. That's all I will say because I do not want to ruin it for anyone. Bianca's life is very interesting and when it all comes out, it's is an awesome twist to this unique vampire story.

So this book starts out with Bianca having to attend this new and frankly freaky boarding school, and on the morning she is suppose to start, she runs away, or tries to, that is when she meets Lucas. This is where you start to think, oh well there is the main Vampire in this story. Then you meet all of Bianca's and Lucas' classmates and things just keep getting interesting. Once you figure out what is going on with Bianca and her classmates and even Lucas, it will a interesting twist. There is a point in this book when you finally figure somethings out and it will blow you away! You will not want to put this book down!

I have read the first 3 books in this series, so I am trying not to get books mixed up! But this story is very different but amazing as well. Great love story and interesting different twist. You can really put yourself into Bianca's shoes. I am so excited to read Afterlife!!

I really loved this find and love Claudia Gray!!!
