"Waiting on Wednesday" is a meme hosted by Breaking the Spine where we highlight one book that we're eagerly anticipating. Here at our blog, it'll be a book that's to be released in the next three months so we're not shooting too far in to the future (even if we really want to)!
I'm going to start things off with one of my all-time favorite authors; Julie Kagawa. While I'm obsessed with her Iron Fey series (I'm a total Puck fangirl), I really have been enjoying her Blood of Eden series. The final book comes out next month and I seriously cannot wait to devour this book!
The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa
(Blood of Eden, #3)
Release Date: April 15, 2014
Publisher: Harlequin Teen; 304 pages
VENGEANCE WILL BE HERS
Allison Sekemoto once struggled with the question: human or monster?
With the death of her love, Zeke, she has her answer.
MONSTER
Allie will embrace her cold vampire side to hunt down and end Sarren, the psychopathic vampire who murdered Zeke. But the trail is bloody and long, and Sarren has left many surprises for Allie and her companions—her creator, Kanin, and her blood brother, Jackal. The trail is leading straight to the one place they must protect at any cost—the last vampire-free zone on Earth, Eden. And Sarren has one final, brutal shock in store for Allie.
In a ruined world where no life is sacred and former allies can turn on you in one heartbeat, Allie will face her darkest days. And if she succeeds, triumph is short-lived in the face of surviving forever alone.

YAY! Puck lovers!!! She's so awesome, I can't even tell you! I haven't snagged a dragon but I do have one of her Puck's sitting on my bookshelf. I was so excited that I was able to get it.
ReplyDeleteLUCKY!!! Actually, I'm impressed with your obvious agility, I can never manage to checkout before they all *poof* disappear! Have you met her in person??
ReplyDeleteI think when I got it, it was the second or maybe third time she put stuff up there. I wanted to get her dragons from her Talon series but I couldn't.
ReplyDeleteI have met her in person a few times. She's really something special. I absolutely adore her! My photo is actually me with her the first time I met her. It's a few years old
I know she's been to Seattle twice for a Faerie Con but yeah, she doesn't do a lot of touring. I met her the first time in her home state of Louisiana - I was across the way in Ohio for something and it just happened to work out that we could go. The other times I've met her were in New York.
