It's a beautiful day for a war.

As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all.

And with all the obstacles between Alex and her happily-ever-after with the swoonworthy Aiden St. Delphi, they must now trust a deadly foe as they travel deep into the Underworld to release one of the most dangerous gods of all time.

In the stunning, action-packed climax to the bestselling Covenant series, Alex must face a terrible choice: the destruction of everything and everyone she holds dear… or the end of herself.
If you have NOT read Half-Blood, Pure, Deity or Apollyon, please read with caution. There are some spoilers that were unavoidable. Proceed with caution . . .

I love Seth, I love him so much. I know everyone else is on the Aiden train and I get that but dammit, you can't change my mind. Unless you threw Caleb in to the mix then we might have some issues but this shouldn't be surprising to anyone who knows me and what characters I tend to lean toward. Aiden is amazing, do not get me wrong, he is beyond amazing; perfect even, as Alex describes him as that many times. I agree. He's the guy every girl wants to bring home to momma and he's perfect for Alex in so many ways but you can't tell me, while reading a book, that you don't feel a connection to a certain character, right? That if these characters were real (and maybe they were a little older) you would find yourself drawn to a certain type. I'd be having an internal battle over Seth and Caleb.

This book was just . . . I read it slow because I wanted to savor it. I read this series so quick (in a week, including the novellas) and it just came and went too fast for my liking. So I slowed down, let it settle in and then read some more, let that sink in and so forth. Once I got to a certain point I couldn't put it down, though. So many emotions but one thing I can say without spoiling it was that this was a fantastic way to end a series. Maybe not the best I've read but it was damn good. I had many tears fall but overall, I was really happy with everything and everyone. Well . . . mostly everyone.

*highlight to view spoiler* I was terribly sadden when Olivia was killed but you know what? I was okay with it. Because the first thing that came to mind was well now she'll be with the one person she loves most, Caleb. There's a happy ending in there even though everyone is suffering from her death we know she's happy because she's with who she wanted to be with. How can you really be sad about that? But that's not the scene that made me an emotional wreck. Alex's death is what killed me. Those last two paragraphs of that chapters...oh gods, the emotions that were running through me. I'm still emotional thinking about it, even after reading the ending. *end spoiler*

You know it's a good series when you suffer one of those book hangovers. You're staring at your bookshelves with all those books that need to read but you just can't find one. What you want to do is pick up the series from the beginning and read it all over again. That's what I want to right now but I won't.

So many characters I loved in this series and so many more that I respected so much. The entire group that formed with Alex (including Deacon, Luke, Lea, Olivia, Solos, Marcus, Aiden) - I love them. I really love Apollo, though. He's now become my favorite god because of this series! Hades ain't so bad, either . . . he's a bit of a hot head though! ;)

If you want to see a series that is not only amazing but concluded in the way a series should, this is definitely one you want to read. It had many sexy scenes, many, many laughs, many tears, many battles, but lots of kicking ass. I can't praise this series enough and I'm glad I read it. And not having to wait was awesome so now if you haven't started this series, you don't have to wait either. Get out there and read it. I've never laughed so much while reading a series - laughing while reading is good and not common enough so eat it up.
