Stacking the Shelves #23

Stacking the Shelves is created & hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is a weekly meme sharing the books you've bought, borrowed or received for review.

You guys, something fantastic happened to me over these past few weeks - I got auto-approved by Harper over at Edelweiss. You don't understand how awesome this was. Harper is my favorite publisher for YA books so this was major for me.

Clicking the pictures will take you to the books goodreads page!

I am super excited to read Her Dark Curiosity and Into the Still Blue. A huge thank you to Harper for these amazing books (all of these I had requested before my auto-approval).

Again, a huge thank you to Harper for these books!

Thank you to Harper for Dear Killer! A huge thank you to HarelquinTEEN for Crash Into You. I AM SO EXCITED about this book. One of the only contemporary series where I actually fangirled a little when I met Katie for the first time.

  2. Congrats again on the auto-approval! I hope you love the ones you downloaded! I also got Crash Into You - I downloaded Crash Into You from NetGalley, and they sent me an ARC. Strange, right? But I'm not complaining! Also, great purchase, in Perfect Ruin! I have an ARC of that one, but I so want a finished copy. It's gorgeous! :D

    Have a fabulous weekend!

    Check out my STS post!

  3. Thank you! I am SO EXCITED for Into the Still Blue. I want to drop everything and read it now but I also don't want it to end so there's that problem, too. Good thing I have other books that I need to read!

I LOVE Katie - I'm not a big contemporary fan but anything she writes or recommends, it's automatically added to my list. I kind of fangirled when I met her and that's a rare thing to happen!

Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

  4. I've yet to read Veronica Rossi's series to get to "Into the Still Blue". I've bought Perfect Ruin and I would be reading it soon.

  5. Thaaaaanks! I hope I love them, too. I know I'll love Megan Shepherd's and Veronica Rossi's but here's hoping I love the others!

That's awesome. I'd totally prefer a physical ARC - I hate reading eBooks. I only use my kindle for eARCs, that's how much I dislike them. I won't buy them. (Unless it's like J. Lynn's Obsession which is only available on the kindle)

My blogmate, Sana, read Perfect Ruin and really loved it. I honestly have to say I'm not the biggest fan of the cover but I'm a fan of Lauren's so I was going to buy/read it anyway!

  6. Dear Killer looks SO GOOD. The cover for Perfect Ruin is beautiful, talk about cover lust! I actually DNF'ed Through the Ever Night, but I think I might give it another try to see why everyone's so hyped for the third book. Great haul :)

  10. Wow. I think you're the first person I've come across that has DNFed Through the Ever Night. I really enjoyed it - actually more than Under the Never Sky. But I understand not every book is for everyone! :) Dear Killer DOES look good so I'm hoping that it is! :)

    Thanks for stopping by!

  13. Ooh, what a great week! Isn't HarperCollins the greatest for auto-autoapproving so many people? No more waiting for our books! Muahahaha. And, ooh, I hope Perfect Ruin is amazinggg. :)

  18. YES! I want to go to NYC and give them all a group hug. It seriously made my day when I found out. I found out on accident, too! The best accident, ever! :D

  19. I have no idea if you're still able to request it or not. It shows up for me but I'm not sure if it's because I'm auto-approved or because I requested it (before they approved me). BUT I AM SO EXCITED for Her Dark Curiosity. I freaking LOVED The Madman's Daughter and I jumped for joy. I was waiting for TWO MONTHS with a pending request. It was torture, I tell you! :)
