Twitter Follower Appreciation Giveaway
I know, if you look at our twitter account we're a tad bit over 3,000 followers so you're probably wondering why I'm doing this . . . now? Well, I'll admit, it's late but better late rather than never, true? We hit 3,000 around the time BEA came along and I've just been so busy with the aftermath of BEA, finding places to put all my books and when I'm going to read those, my meeting the YAGB ladies and interviewing them, blog tours and not to mention a little thing called my job. Bummer, right? However, you'll appreciate me putting it off because now that I have I am able to give away one major prize pack that I'm not able to do. I couldn't before because they weren't signed!
That being said, I want to thank everyone, all 3,000+ of you following on twitter and just everyone who comes to our blog to read our reviews, interviews, blog tours stops and whatever else we may post here! Because this giveaway is set up as a twitter follower giveaway you must be following us to enter. That's the only mandatory option but I will throw in a few extra options so you can have more entries, if you wish! The more the merrier, right?!
So the first prize is international so everyone can enter! It's a signed copy of Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry (it's paperback). I was lucky enough to meet her twice in a short period of time. My first time being BEA this year which didn't give me a chance to get extra books signed (or even the ones I owned) but I was stoked just to meet her. Then HarlequinTEEN announced the #yeahYA tour and I was set. Katie is my favorite contemporary author, hands down; she's the reason I've branched out in to more contemporary.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Starting out pretty good, huh? It's about to get better. The next two prizes are only for US residents (sorry but because it's multiple books it would cost SO MUCH to ship them internationally and I just don't have the money at this time). First up, we have signed copies of Something Strange and Deadly [hardcover] and A Darkness Strange and Lovely [hardcover] by Susan Dennard! Susan Dennard is amazing and her books are just as amazing as she is. I got SS&D signed when I met her (and interviewed her) at the Young Authors Give Back tour! It was one of the best experiences! Then because Susan is so kick-ass she donated two books to this site for a giveaway (the other is a paperback of SS&D which will be given away soooooon) and that's where ADS&L comes in.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Excited yet? We've saved the best for last. Or maybe not the best but the most amount of books for last. And from a New York Times Best Selling Author; one whom I adore! Win the Iron Fey books (The Iron King, The Iron Daughter, The Iron Queen & The Iron Knight) SIGNED by the fabulous Julie Kagawa. YES. You read that correctly. All four of these fantastic books are SIGNED BY HER! I know, I'm crazy for giving them away, right? But these are the books I had to wait for. She told me, while I was at BEA that she'd be back in NY in July and she didn't lie; #yeahYA was the perfect time for me to lug all my books of Julie's to get her to sign. Well the ones that she hasn't signed already from my previous times meeting her PLUS I wanted to get some books signed for you! (I also have a signed copy of The Immortal Rules which I'm saving...)
a Rafflecopter giveaway
So, are you happy with what we're giving away here? I hope this is a great thank you to all you fabulous followers! You don't know how much we appreciate any of you that actually take the time to read our interviews, blog tours and especially reviews! We write them for other readers and it warms our hearts to know people actually read them & it helps them decide whether or not to read a book!
Best of luck to everyone and thank you again! A BIG VIRTUAL HUG FOR EVERYONE!

About the question of favorite author, we have a lot! But maybe we could pick one for this event. We would say Abbi Glines, because we don't need to read the description of her new books to start to read them. We loved her stories so much that we don't hesitate =)
ReplyDeleteWe read a few weeks Pushing The Limits and loved the story so much, that in two days we read the other two books from Pushing the Limits: Dare You To & Crossing The Line.
ReplyDeleteNow we are waiting for Crash Into You... Hope we have it soon!! *o*
We would love to have the signed copy because it would be an honor to have a signed paperback of this wonderful story! ^^
My favorite book by Julie Kawaga is The Iron King ^_^ I love that series! Sooo good! And my favorite author is Anne Rice
ReplyDeleteI love The Iron Queen by Julie Kawaga. Love the world building in that series and of course, Prince Ash. My favorite author is probably Wendy Higgins right now because I love the The Sweet Evil series and can't wait to read more books by her. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePushing The Limits is one of my favorite books. It is happy and sad and I love that someone at school truly cares. It is a classic to me!
ReplyDeleteI've haven't The Iron King yet, so I have to say I'm most excited for that book.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on reaching over 3,000 Twitter followers! I don't have any particular favorite author, but I absolutely LOVED Splintered by A.G. Howard - it's one of my favorite books of all time. As for Julie Kagawa, I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't read any of her books yet, although I do own most of them. Since I'm a huge paranormal fan, I'm excited to read The Immortal Rules and The Eternity Cure - but I'm also looking forward to reading The Iron Fey series. Thanks for these awesome giveaways! :)
ReplyDeletePushing the Limits was one of my favourite books from last year, Noah has won my girlish heart(how cheesy was that??):) Would love to get a physical copy and one that is signed by the author would be just amazing:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for making the giveaway international ..it's so hard to find signed books where I live...
Thanks!!
My two favourite authors are J. K Rowling and Melina Marchetta:)
ReplyDeleteBeen meaning to pick up this series, so thanks for the opportunity:)

ReplyDeleteI would like to win the signed copy of Pushing the limits because I've heard of this book for so long but thanks to my poor pocket money (all spent for other books) couldn't efford it. My SuB is gigantic and I hope through that giveaway I can finally hold it in my hands :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Julie Kagawa book is THE IRON KNIGHT because we get to see the world from Ash's POV. :) Thanks for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteI love so many authors, and I can't just pick one! I suppose that if it came down to it, I'd have to go with J.K. Rowling b/c Harry Potter changed my life, and that's the most powerful thing an author can do. (I also love John Green, Maureen Johnson, and 100000 other authors but!).
ReplyDeleteMy all-time favorite author is Diana Wynne Jones. I love fantasy, and she's one of the masters. She writes the best stories and the best characters!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for the chance to win Susan's books. I adore her, as well. My favorite author in YA at least is probably Tamara Ireland Stone, or Victoria Schwab. Both are wonderful people to get to know!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Julie Kagawa book would have to be The Blood of Eden series, specifically The Eternity Cure. Julie managed to make my heart ache every time. Not to mention, the many twist and turns that were in there — the ending!
ReplyDeleteIts really difficult to answer who is my favorite author because I have lots but i gotta say Richelle Mead is my favorite one. She's inspiring and has a amazing talent in writing. Ive read all of Julie's book and i am so stoked to read The Iron Traitor. I k kw its going to be amazing!
ReplyDeleteThere're a few reasons why I want the signed copy of Pushing the Limits - one of them being that Katie McGarry is one of my favorite contemporary authors, her writing is amazing, but most of all, I live in Croatia, so chances to actually get a signed book from her (or any of my favorite authors) is kinda slim to none.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win it! :)
I have Pushing the limits on my tbr for long time so getting a signed copy will be awesome :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite author is Sophie Moss simply because of how kind she is...Oh, and her writing is phenomenal!
