The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
(The Iron Fey, #3)
Release Date: January 25, 2011
Publisher: Harlequin Teen; 358 pages
THE IRON QUEEN . . . where do I begin? This is my absolutely favorite book for this series – hands down! It was the book I’ve been waiting for since finishing THE IRON KING and it did not disappoint!
It was filled with excitement, humor, heartbreak and gut wrenching suspense. I’m having trouble putting how I felt about this book into words, it’s so hard! It just did everything it needed to do and MORE!
The ending was sad and to think she almost ended this series like this is insane. Thankfully, she has written THE IRON KNIGHT which ends the series beautifully.
This is probably the shortest review because I just can’t put into words what this book did for me, I really can’t. I will say, as Puck girl, I did start to fall a little for Ash in this book . . .
As you know from my other reviews, I highly recommend this series to all people who enjoy reading fantasy stories. This is definitely up there in my top ten of favorite series . . . ever!

My name is Meghan Chase.
I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.
This time, there will be no turning back.
