Welcome back for yet another edition of Short, Sweet & To The Point Reviews. Today I bring you reviews for The Problem with Forever, Ivory and Bone, Walk the Edge, Ruined, The Iron Warrior, The Adoration of Jenna Fox and the Neon Dreams trilogy.

Neon Dreams trilogy by Caisey Quinn (released with Harper Collins)

I read this whole series in a matter of days. It was addicting, sexy and entertaining as hell. I do believe the first book, Leaving Amarillo, was my favorite of the three. I love how it ended, how everything came together but one thing I remember is I was left still wanting more when it was over. I was longing for just . . . more.

The Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout (released May 21, 2016 with Harlequin Teen)

This book was really good but I expected it. I haven't really come across many books of Jen's that I haven't liked (with the exception of Every Last Breath). And maybe because I've read and loved so many of her books that my expectations are higher but I was expecting more. When I started, I thought for sure it would've been an emotional roller coaster; I was certain I was cry. I didn't. It wasn't what I was hoping it to be. Is it fair for me to judge the book based off the tears (or lack thereof) that it produces? I don't know but I can't give it all the stars because it didn't give me all the feels.

Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh (released June 7, 2016 with Harper Teen)

I'm still confused as to how this is a trilogy but this book was so unique that I'm not sure I care too much? I'll read what ever comes after it but I didn't feel or see much of a open ending so my mind is curious. This book, I assure you, is like nothing you've ever read (or at least, in many recent years). I was drawn in from the first chapter and I finished this book in a few hours. It was fascinating, gripping and well, unique.

Walk the Edge by Katie McGarry (released March 29, 2016 with Harlequin Teen)

Listen, I wasn't sure I'd like this because I didn't really care for Razor. I'm all about Chevy and I wanted his book like, last year. But this was so much better than Nowhere but Here. It blew me away; how much I came to love and need Razor really surprised me. He wasn't anything like I imagined him to be and I'm so glad she made the second book his. But now we get down to business because Chevy's book is up next and I'm so ready. SO READY.

The Iron Warrior by Julie Kagawa (released October 27, 2015 with Harlequin Teen)

Listen, I realized something while reading this book; I didn't really like this series. It took me awhile to realize it but I liked it more than I truly did because of the appearances of the original characters. I was excited for the chance to see more Puck, more Meghan, more Ash just . . . more of them. Reading this book was a struggle because it hit me how much I just didn't really care about Ethan or Kenzie or Keirran. So therefore, I didn't really care too much about this book, sadly. It took me a VERY long time to finish this book.

Ruined by Amy Tintera (released May 3, 2016 with Harper Teen)

I love Amy Tintera and I believe she's going to be an author who doesn't let me down when it comes to her storytelling. This book was amazing. My friend kept raving about it so I read it months ago, just to see what all her hype was about. OMG the hype was worth it because it might just very well be my favorite book by her. Everything about it was what I needed (and I didn't even know I needed it). I need more and I need more nooooooow!

The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson (released April 29, 2008 with Macmillan)

This book was weird. I didn't know what to expect but I love Mary's writing so I wanted to give it a shot. I'm not big on scifi so I was a little turned off from that but it was fascinating. I enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed reading the struggles the main characters (and even the supporting characters) faced but it was still weird. A good weird but so different. I just got the second book in so I'm curious to see what happens next.
