If you don't know by now, my love for the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas is everlasting, strong and true. It is one of my favorite series, hands down, with not much competition. It features one of my top 3 all-time favorite male YA characters and that hasn't changed in years (since I read Throne of Glass). The covers are awesome, all the words are awesome and most importantly, the author is beyond amazing.
No series has ever made me feel the way this series has and I'm not sure any other series ever will. From the moment I picked up Throne of Glass, I knew I was in love and in for one hella ride. Having just finished Queen of Shadows, my love for this series has grown. My understanding has changed and grown along with these characters. I just sent the author an email today and while writing it, I was getting choked up because of how much I just feel for these people and this world that is only fictional. Harry Potter and the Hunger Games were my last obsession, when it came to books, on this level and even they don't match what this series does to me. THAT is saying something. Especially since it was the Hunger Games books that really got me in to reading.
Queen of Shadows release is right around the corner and I've been waiting for the perfect time to celebrate these books and this author. I've featured her on the blog in the past (via Author Spotlight) and I've decided to do a massive giveaway. The winner will get the following:
- Signed The Assassin's Blade (hardcover)
- Signed Throne of Glass (hardcover)
- Signed Crown of Midnight (hardcover)
- Signed Heir of Fire (hardcover)
- Signed Throne of Glass tote bag (from Bloomsbury)
Awesome giveaway, right? I was going to include Queen of Shadows BUT I don't think I can fit everything in a box for shipping so we'll go with what I already have for you all.
The only downside to this giveaway, because of the size of these books is, it's open to US residents only. IF you are international and want to pay for the shipping, please feel free to enter. But you must pay for shipping before I even send them out.
From one obsessed Chaol girl to another (or maybe you're obsessed with Dorian or Rowan or Aedion or all of them) - you will love Queen of Shadows. By the end of the book, you will be completely and utterly satisfied with where things went and where they're going. Come talk to me when you finish the book . . . until then, enter to win this awesome prize. (Picture of prize to come, when I can dig through all my tote bags to find the correct one)
