I have to be in the right mood to read any type of horror stories. They aren't usually my type of thing, but when I am in the mood, these short stories sure hit that sweet spot. This book is a collection of seven. I decided to read these short stories because they sounded good and creepy and when I started reading them, I wasn't disappointed.
The first story, was for me the creepiest of them all. Starting out reading it, I wasn't prepared for the, I guess for lack of a better word, abruptness of the language, but it just made it that more believable. It was rude or anything, just not what I am accustomed to reading. And I do believe by having a child myself, it makes this story even more creppy.
If you are looking for something new and different in the horror genre, Gristle & Bone will shock you. And you will not be disappointed!
