Jocelyn Timmons does not believe she is anything special — just an ordinary high school senior, living an ordinary life full of school-work, volleyball and friends. She’s about to find out how wrong she is.

Jackson Chandler moved in to the house across the street. His dark wavy hair, green eyes and charismatic personality draws everyone to him. Everyone, but Jocelyn.

Whenever Jackson gets near Jocelyn she feels ill and dizzy. When he touches her, she blacks out and has visions of another life, in another time. As the odd hallucinations evolve and become clearer, she feels a strong pull towards the people she sees there. Frightened, she watches her once stable life begin to crumble around her and she begins to question her own sanity.

Could it be possible that these episodes are actually her own memories of a life she is living somehow, somewhere, some-when? Maybe this is time-travel or some other paranormal mysticism? Our minds often wander, but can our souls?

I have to admit my reading as a whole this year has really slowed down, and that isn't due to any books fault, I've just been lazy this year with it, lol. But I do have to say, this book, picked me back up and got me back into my groove again!

This story is a story line I haven't quite read before, and that in itself made me want to read this book more then the blurb already made me want to read it. How on earth can a girl be in two separate time periods pretty much at the same time. That was the biggest draw to the story and the anticipation and waiting and longing for it was totally worth it.

Every chapter is about Jocelyn's life, but not in the same year. One is in 1878 and one is in 2009. I loved how this was written, they were almost like mini cliffhangers and made you want to continue to read to find out what happens, but then you'd read another chapter and the same thing would happen. Very easy to read that way!! But kept you hungry for more.

I kept wondering and waiting to see how this would all play out and discover why Jocelyn could live in these two worlds, but along the way, I got to learn about her lives and the the love that she had, and that made the story so much more beautiful. As soon as I finished, I bought book 2 & 3, I have to continue this amazing story and see what happens! Read This Series!!!!
