 So ever since I was in middle school I had always wanted to go on a cross country road trip.  From the east coast to the west coast.  When I was in my early twenties, I sort of accomplished this.  While I didn't make it all the way to California, I did go to Nashville Tennessee.  It was a great experience, and I hope that when I am in my thirties I will make the full journey.  (Note:  I've been to California, in fact I go at least 2 times a year.  But I've never driven there.)  In The Edge of Never after a series of events Camryn finds herself just picking up one day and heading out into the open road.  Now none of my road trips, nor any of my many bus trips have ever had me encounter a ridiculously hott guy.  So immediately I was jealous of this trip.  But Camryn and Andrew's adventures made for an exciting read!

I am going to be honest, I almost flounced on this book.  To be honest the first 70 or so pages just seemed so out of the place and unorganized.  I was also convinced that the author hated Camyrn.  The amount of horrific things that had happened to Camyrn left a pretty sour taste in my mouth.  But I am glad I kept going, because once Camryn met Andrew the story exploded.  From their first conversation I was instantly hooked.  I was able to ignore my distaste of the first few chapters, and really enjoy the rest of the read.

Camryn and Andrew have smokin' chemistry.  And I am pretty sure that's why this book has received such rave reviews.  Sometimes we just need to read a solid love story.  Andrew said something to Camyrn that literally had me fanning myself!  Seriously it was just so hott!

I definitely would recommend this story to anyone who is looking for a great romance story.  But I did have to knock a star off my rating because of the beginning.  If I were the author or an editor, I totally would have started the story from Camryn and Andrew's first meeting and completely nixed the beginning.  Maybe have told their back story through flashbacks.  If you read this book, and have trouble with the beginning like I did do not put this book down!  You would definitely regret it!
