Jessica and I both attended ALA Midwinter last weekend! It was definitely very exciting. I was lucky enough to pick up a few books for review. I mostly picked up contemporary books, while Jessica stuck to the paranormal and fantasy titles! It's great how much it works out for us when it comes to reviewing books!
I also can't tell you how appreciative Jessica and I were to be able to attend ALA Midwinter 2014. We have much respect for librarians, in fact one of my best friends is a librarian. It was an amazing opportunity and are thankful for the American Library Association for opening up their convention to book bloggers.

Panic was on my top to be read books for 2014! I was so happy to pick up a copy of the ARC. Thank you to Harper Teen for these awesome reads!
Thanks to Little Brown and Macmillan for the following titles!
Here at Step Into Fiction we are HUGE Jeri Smith-Ready fans! I squealed when I saw This Side of Salvation was available. Thank you to Simon & Schuster and Harelequin Teen for the titles below!
Last, but definitely not least thank you Random House, Bloomsbury, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for the books below!
And of course I couldn't go a month without buying books as well! Unbreakable was one of my favorite reads last year, and I finally picked up the hardcover!
I'm so glad that you and Jessica enjoyed the conference/convention! If it hadn't fallen right at the end of winter classes and the beginning of spring semester classes (that transition weekend), you would have seen me there! I'm excited about Illusive! Although Little, Brown is known for not sending out too ARCs in the mail. And I'm a huge JSR fan as well! Fellow Marylander and all ;)
