My favorite fey books HAS to be the Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa (although I do love Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely series just as much). My favorite Fantasy has to be tied between the Ruby Red trilogy by Kerstin Gier and the Incarnate trilogy by Jodi Meadows.

ReplyDeleteI have two favorite fantasy series that are tied for first place: The Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter series. I LOVE them both!!!! Oh, and of course I LOVE "The Hobbit", too!! I also ADORE the Twilight Saga, but I don't think of those books as fantasy -- at least, not epic fantasy, like the other two series I've mentioned. To me, they're PNR/UF. Anyway, they do classify as fantasy, but in a different way than the other two series I love.

My favorite fantasy book is not a book but a series. I love Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series. All of his books are action packed and it is so fun to run with Harry. My favorite fae series is Laurell K Hamilton's Merry Gentry series. I love Merry and all her men.
