Since the night of her seventeenth birthday, Skye has been torn between two opposites: Light and Dark, the Order and the Rebellion, Devin and Asher.

But her decision shocked both sides—because she chose neither.

With the help of her friends, Skye forges her own path, setting out to gather an uprising of Rogues. The treacherous and elusive half-angels may be the key to maintaining the balance of fate and free will. But completing the mission her parents left unfinished is more difficult—and dangerous—than she could have imagined. And doing so comes at a cost: Her greatest love may now be a lethal enemy. Because it’s not just the Order that sees her as a threat who must be eliminated. The Rebellion does, too.

And both sides will do whatever it takes to win.

Dark days lie ahead, and if Skye is to survive, she’ll need to rely on her extraordinary powers and the strength of her will. Because she has a future—and a love—that’s worth fighting for.

The sweeping, darkly romantic story that began with A Beautiful Dark and gathered intensity in A Fractured Light comes to a thrilling conclusion in A Radiant Sky.

This has got to be one of my favorite angel series; while most people are on and on about Fallen and Hush, Hush (which I liked, for the most part) it seems that series is underrated and under-appreciated. It's a shame because it's been so great, with amazing characters, a suspenseful storyline and a fantastic world of Guardians (angels) versus Rebels (fallen angels). Skye, who is a mix of both Guardian and Rebel blood is caught in the middle of this battle and being sought after for one side or the other. They are willing to go to any means to get her to their side because they think having her equals victory. If they thought this journey would be easy they are clearly mistaken.

In the thrilling conclusion to this trilogy, Skye has taken a stand against the Guardians and now she is facing off against the Rebels, the ones who saved her life and the one she loves most, Asher. She has created a new group of Rogue's (other half Guardian or half Rebel people) to come known as the Uprising. Skye has done so much growing up since the beginning when she was unknowingly dragged in to this world. Finding out the truth about her parents, their death's and the fact that her Aunt is a Rogue plus the new things she uncovers in this final book can make just about anyone's head spin. Somehow she seems rather levelheaded throughout the whole thing with a few breakdowns here and there; overall she handles her situations pretty well.

This final book wraps up the series very well; I really enjoyed how everything came together and I was, overall, very satisfied with the ending. I'm quite gutted over a bit of the end but clearly I can't talk about it. I realized, in this final book, how much Asher and Skye are meant for each other. I, personally, am a bigger fan of Devin than I was of Asher but that partnership just doesn't make as much sense as Asher. Skye realizes how much he means to her in this book and how, after all the fighting is over (and if they all survive) she wants him by her side though she unsure how this would happen.

There's little I can say about this book without spoiling it so I'm sorry it's so vague. Just trust me when I say it's pretty amazing and it is my favorite Angel series. Also, some of the new characters we meet in this book have turned out to be favorites of mine. Especially a little girl named Earth. She has stolen my heart and I have no doubt she'll steal yours, as well.
