Blog Tour: Seeds of Discovery by Breeana Puttroff - Reivew + Giveaway

Quinn Robbins' life was everything she thought a teenager's should be. She has good friends, a family that she loves, good grades, and an after-school job she enjoys. And, she's just been asked out by Zander Cunningham, a popular football player and great guy. But one day when driving home after picking up her little sister from the baby-sitter's, she nearly hits a boy who, after running blindly into the street, mysteriously disappears.

The mystery only deepens as she figures out who the boy is; William Rose, a reclusive, awkward boy from school who always has his nose in a pile of books.

As she becomes more aware of his behavior it becomes more obvious how out of the ordinary William is and how hard he deliberately tries to blend into the background. This only intrigues her more and she finds herself working to find out more about him, and exactly where he keeps disappearing to.

On a whim one night she follows him and suddenly finds herself in a new world. One where William is a prince, literally, and she is treated like a princess. She also discovers that she is stuck; the gate back to her own world isn't always open.

Quinn finds herself smack in the middle of a modern-day fairy tale, on a course that will change her life forever.

First I'd like to say that I'm super excited to be on this blog tour - it's my first ever - and I'm so happy that I got the chance to read this book, along with book #2. I bought book #3 before I finished book 2 and shortly after that I bought book 4. It's such an amazing series and I can't wait to finish reading it. Thank you to http://gcrpromotions.blogspot.com for letting be on this and for setting this all up.

Now, on to the review. As per usual I will be starting with the cover. I'll admit at first I wasn't that impressed.  I don't want to say that I judged a book by it's cover but I was a bad person and I did. Before this series I was always really iffy about ebooks. I don't know why, but for some reason I felt like they weren't...real. Like it was too good to be true. This series changed all that and now I'm glued to the kindle app on my ipad.

I've grown to like the cover even though I don't get to look at it as much because this copy was an ebook. Once I looked at it the first time that was it.

Ok, on to my review. Quinn ticked me off at first, and sort of wore on my nerves throughout the first bit of the book. She doesn't know when to leave well alone and it gets her into a bit of trouble. I will admit that I stopped reading a few times to groan, since I just couldn't understand why she was so intent on shoving her nose into William's business. Then when she actually finds out what is going on, she takes it way too well for me. She's in another world, for crying out loud, and although she has had her moments where she freaked out, I think she was a little too naive and trusting of these people for my tastes. As the book goes on, though, I became a little more relaxed and once I was convinced that no one was turning into a murderer I started to like the book.

Williamm annoyed me as well. He was too much of a jerk throughout the book, even though I fully understand why. I would be just as ticked off if some random girl was following me around, prying into my life. Fully understandable. He is a little hard on himself, but I relate to him and so I won't be doing any complaining about that.

Needless to say things progressed, and completely had me hooked, but I'll leave that for you to read and figure out! Try out your hand at winning copies of the books down below! Thanks for stopping by!
