Clara is desperate to get away—from the memories that haunt her in Wyoming and the visions of a future she isn't ready to face—and spending the summer in Italy with her best friend, Angela, should be the perfect escape. . . .
For as long as she can remember, Angela has been told that love is dangerous, that she must always guard her heart. But when she met a mysterious guy in Italy two years ago she was determined to be with him, no matter the costs. Now she must decide whether she can trust Clara with her secret, or if telling her the truth will risk everything she cares about.
Alternating between Angela and Clara's perspectives, Radiant chronicles the unforgettable summer that will test the bounds of their friendship and change their lives forever.
This, I believe, is going to be something very important for readers to read. Even before Boundless. It's not only something to tie us over until Boundless is released but I have a feeling all of this is going to play a big part in the final installment.
We take our journey overseas to Italy, which is just awesome. Not only does it sound like the perfect vacation, especially for Clara, but we get to see Angela around her mystery guy. Turns out this guy is a lot more than meets the eye...but Clara can't figure out if that's a good thing or bad thing. Honestly, the reader is right there with her. Sure, this guy is hot (Orlando Bloom hot) but since when are looks what define a person?
Angela has a memory of her first kiss and I believe you'll be shocked to find out who the boy was she first kissed. Spin the bottle, of course...she was expecting fireworks and actually felt the complete opposite. Clara is still dreaming of and thinking of Tucker almost every breathing moment while she should be enjoying herself in Italy. It shows you who her heart is truly with...we'll just have to see if things turn out for her or not.
All I know is this novella was exciting and delicious but I'm so ready for the main course. I am ready to read Boundless and I cannot wait until January 22. If you've read Unearthy & Hallowed, you MUST read this...it's one you do not nor should not miss out on reading.
I agree, I recently read as well! I can't wait for Boundless!
