Mailbox Mondays #20

Mailbox Mondays was originated by Marcia @ A Girl & Her Books. This month it is currently hosted at Marcia @ A Girl & Her Books. You can check out all the blogs it'll be hosted at for the rest of 2012 here!

Conjure by Lea Nolan

I absolutely love Entangled books. I have yet to come across one that I didn't like. Most every book I've read are 4 and 5 stars. I cannot wait to read this & I'm excited to be part of the official blog tour, as well!

The Raven Boysby Maggie Stiefvater

I know, I got this book back in June but I went to her signing in NYC and got myself a hardcover version, and she signed it. Though, I still need to read this...I fail.

Every Day by David Levithan

I haven't read this one either but he was so incredibly funny at the signing and I've heard good things about this so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy it & have him sign it!

If I Stay by Gayle Forman

My friend, Joy, is obsessed with these books. She goes with me to a lot of signings & when we had the opportunity to meet Gayle, I couldn't say no. I bought this book for her to sign when we met her. I do want to read this so it's a win/win.

Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne

Strand bookstore, in NYC, is my new favorite bookstore. I bought this while there. It's been one that's been on my radar for awhile and well, it was incredibly priced that I just couldn't say no.

Cold Furyby T.M. Goeglein

Another book that's been on my radar, I found it at Strand for cheap plus it was signed. I mean, if it's a book I want to read and I find it signed, why wouldn't I buy it? I can't wait to find time to read this, though.

Dearly, Beloved by Lia Habel

Yeah...I haven't read the first one yet. I hope I like it because I ordered this way back at least 6 months before it's release because it was less than $10. My friend Stacey loves the first one and we have similar taste so I'm optimistic.

Blood Prophecy by Alyxandra Harvey

I'm dreading reading this. Absolutely terrified. Because I don't want it to end. I'm a huge fan of the Drake Chronicles and the last book comes out January 2013. I was lucky to have been approved on netgalley and I can't wait to read this...but I dread it. Also, if you're an Obsidian fan (Jennifer L. Armentrout), you'll recognize the cover models... ;) .

Splintered by A.G. Howard

This.Cover.Is.Amazing. It's definitely grabbed my attention but so does the description. I recently got approved to read this on netgalley and can't wait! Plus, I still can't get over how awesome that cover is, I mean...seriously.

Asunderby Jodi Meadows

I adore Jodi, she's absolutely amazing. I loved Incarnate and I was lucky to have a friend whose lent the second book for me to read. I can't wait to read it...plus, I really love her covers. Soooooo pretty.

False Sight by Dan Krokos

I went to Comic Con in NY and they had this book there (along with Dan Krokos to sign them). I had NO idea they would have this ARC there, I mean, the first book just came out in August and this book doesn't come out until August 2013. So I was surprised but super excited. If you've read my review, you'll know I absolutely loved the first book. But now I have the choice of reading it now and agonizing over a super long wait for more or putting it off while it stares me in the facing, begging me to read it...decisions, decisions...

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi

Tahereh Mafi is awesome. I was lucky to have gotten this at Comic Con in NY, as well. I was also lucky enough to have her sign it. I seriously cannot wait to read this. This and Tahereh were my entire reason for buying a ticket in the first place. I'm so glad I did.

The Different Girl by Gordon Dahlquist

Penguin was giving this book away. I know the ratings/reviews that have come in haven't been the greatest but it sounded interesting enough. Plus, I don't always agree with what everyone else says, so I wanted to check it out for myself..

The Friday Societyby Adrienne Kress

The author was really nice and I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to meet her at Comic Con and get the ARC signed. This book comes out in December and I'm really looking forward to reading it. The cover is interesting...

Gravity by Melissa West

I remember being a part of the cover reveal for this book and I couldn't help thinking how stunning this cover was. It's simple but yet it's grabs your attention. I just started reading this and I'm definitely intrigued. The characters are interesting, the story is different and the time period is awesome (I believe it was 2140, so yay to the future!).
