Mailbox Mondays was originated by Marcia @ A Girl & Her Books. This month it is currently hosted at BookNAround. You can check out all the blogs it'll be hosted at for the rest of 2012 here!
The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa
I fangirled. I really did. I have never done that while reading a book but man, I so fangirled. I fist pumped, in fact, combined with a squeal. I am truly a Puck fangirl. *sigh*
Try Not To Breathe by Jennifer R. Hubbard
I bought this book because it's one that I've been wanting to read, plus she was at the PAYA Festival in PA, so it was the perfect time to get it and have the author sign it!
Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
I've been wanting to read this for awhile, I've heard many good things about it but never had I purchased it. I still haven't. I was lucky enough to win this through a goodreads giveaway and I can't wait to read it.
Auracle by Gina Rosati
I actually had to send my copy of this back because there was a printing error and about the last 50 pages were glued together. That wouldn't be fun to read but now that I have a correct copy, I really want to read it. So many books, never enough time...
Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
So, Seleana reviewed this for the site and she didn't really like it all that much. So I decided to cross it off my list, but then talking to my friend, Stacey, she convinced me to give it a try. I've heard lots of talk of this book so I did, I bought it. I even got to meet the author at PAYA, so that was awesome. When I get some time off from reviewing, this is definitely on my to do list!
Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I met Jennifer at the PAYA festival and she is absolutely awesome. I am diehard fan of her Lux series, so I decided to try out her other series, plus, if I was meeting her, I wanted them in time for her to sign them!
Daimon by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Same as above...I can't wait to get to these books.
Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout
And...again! I can't wait to read these.
Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake
I LOVED Anna Dressed in Blood and I'm so mad I haven't had a chance to read this yet. I will get to it soon...I have to.
Deviants by Maureen McGowan
Deviants by Maureen McGowan
I got sent this by the publisher and I'm super excited about it because it's one that had my attention when I first saw the cover. It's pretty awesome (but simple).
Fall to Pieces by Vahini Naidoo
Another book that was sent to me from the publisher. I'm interested in reading this so I can't wait to read it (I think I have these scheduled for next month).
Sanctum by Sarah Fine
I'd never heard of this one, but the publisher sent me this, as well, stating she'd think I would enjoy it. It sounds interesting so I can't wait to give it a go.
Angelfall by Susan Ee
Krystol loves this book. She said she's read it like four times so that makes me giddy. She and I have similar taste so if she likes it, good feeling I will too.
The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore
BIG fan of this series. I thought the Power of Six was so much better than I Am Number Four so I can't wait to read this!
Iron Legends by Julie Kagawa
I'm obsessed with Summer's Crossing, I thought Winter's Passage was cute and I need to read Iron Legacy...but to own these in print, of course I had to.
The Torn Wing by Kiki Hamilton
I'm excited about this blog tour, the first book was amazing. I can't believe I had the first book for nearly a year sitting on my shelf and never read it!
Outpost by Ann Aguirre
I HAVE BEEN DYING FOR THIS BOOK! I seriously think I'm pushing some of my books back just so I can read this. I was literally counting down for this to be released...I don't do that often lol.
Toxic by Jus Accardo
I was sent this by the publisher for the blog tour and oh my goodness! I just finished and I'm dying, like literally...that ending. That book. I am currently discussing it with a fellow blogger friend of mine...oh man.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
I got this book because Megan Miranda recommended it to me. She absolutely loved it and told me I should read it when I was looking for book recommendations. Then Jill Hathaway also pitched in, saying how much she loved it so I mean, two authors telling you how much they loved it? How can you NOT read it?
Goodness that's quite a haul. Some striking covers too. And it made me laugh that you admitted to fangirling. I do it every now and again too and somehow I always feel a little goofy after I've done it. ;-) Happy reading this week!
ReplyDeleteI loved Outpost and thought the Circus book was pretty good. Enjoy all your books!
ReplyDeleteYou got lot of books! I haven't read any Kagawa's books but I've heard good things. Angelfall sounds good too. I loved Night Circus and I hope you enjoy it too.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Wow, last week was a great week for you! I'm jealous that you still have The Night Circus to read. That was such a great book - perfect to immerse yourself in completely.
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing Gone Girl on people's lists. I really need to get that book!
